Abstract

The academic circles pay more and more attention to the spatial effect of regional economic growth. Spatial externalities, spatial dependence and spatial spillovers are three important concepts to explain the occurrence mechanism of spatial effect in regional economic growthing, and also three significant analytical tools. However, there are still controversial about how to position the three concepts. Based on some literatures of these concepts, we compared them, summarized their measurement methods, and then discussed their roles in the regional economic growthing.

Key words
